About Countryside: Countryside Christian Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church committed to helping people know Jesus and make Him known. We are a staff-led, elder-protected congregation that values authentic community, biblical truth, and serving our neighbors. We’re looking for a KidVenture Minister who will lead our Children’s Ministry with vision, passion, and a heart for discipleship.
Position Summary
The KidVenture Minister provides leadership and oversight for the Children’s Ministry, creating a Christ-centered environment where children can grow in faith. This part-time role includes planning and coordinating programs, supporting volunteers, communicating with families, and organizing events and activities.

Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight
● Coordinate weekly children’s programs, including lesson planning and classroom preparation.
● Ensure all classroom activities and lessons are supported and properly staffed.
● Maintain supplies and resources for programming as needed.
Volunteer Leadership
● Recruit, train, and support volunteers for children’s ministry roles.
● Provide guidance and encouragement to team members.
● Conduct quarterly team meetings or training sessions.
Family and Community Engagement
● Communicate with families about weekly programs, upcoming events, and other important updates.
● Encourage family involvement in children’s spiritual growth.
● Support children and families during significant milestones, such as dedications or baptisms. Events and Special Activities
● Plan and coordinate seasonal or annual events for children and families.
● Oversee special programs such as Vacation Bible School or holiday celebrations.
● Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure events run smoothly.
Administration and Communication
● Maintain clear communication with staff, volunteers, and families.
● Keep calendars and schedules organized.
● Ensure all activities align with church policies and safety standards.
Professional Growth
● Participate in ongoing development and training to enhance ministry effectiveness.

Qualifications
● A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
● Agreement with the mission, vision, and core beliefs of Countryside Christian Church.
● Experience in ministry leadership, preferably with children or families.
● Strong communication, organizational, and relational skills.
● Ability to teach Scripture clearly and engage children effectively.
● Bachelor’s degree in ministry, theology, education, or a related field preferred.
