Event Begins in Pioneer Hall

Webster’s Dictionary defines Together as “in or into contact, connection, collision, or union.”  Which word would you use to define the togetherness of the Elder/Pastor relationship in your church?

The 2024 Elder/Pastor conference will address how we are better together! Together we’ll look at how to strengthen the relationships between Elders and Pastors. In our time Together we will look at how we can connect together, grow together, and serve together. When the Elders and Pastor are Together—we are able to be more effective in reaching people, reaching our communities, and reaching our world for Jesus!

David Case was born and raised in Newberg, Oregon.  He has been on staff at Northwest Christian Church since 1982. He began as the Youth/Associate Minister and became the Senior Minister in 1993. In 2018 & 2019, he led the church through three mergers and now is the Lead Pastor over a 4-campus church.  David has a BA in Education – History, with a minor in math, and a Masters in Christian Studies, both from George Fox University. He has a heart for the whole world coming to know Jesus! David has been married to Julie for 38 years, has 2 adult kids, 1 forever foster child, and 3 grandchildren.

The day will also delve into AI with a lively discussion led by Mike Miller, pastor at Village Christian Church

“Exploring AI: A Pastor / Elder Dialogue on Technology and Faith”
