      How do we actually "love above  all"?

11 am Workshop: Matt & Jan King,

            Looking Beyond the Headlines 

In this workshop we will spend time looking beyond what the news says about immigration. After looking at the world’s displaced peoples, we will take a look in scripture and learn more about God’s heart for the foreigner among us and lastly hear about what is happening in Baraka Ministries in Salem, OR.                

       Location: Tabernacle Main room

11 am Prayer Workshop:  Cheryl Peterson

Whether you’re a brand-new believer or have been walking with Jesus for years, we’ve all encountered stumbling blocks that seem insurmountable. In this prayer workshop, we’ll explore some Biblical techniques for effective prayer and discover ways to achieve breakthroughs for yourself and your loved ones. 

             Location:  North end of Tabernacle

​Noon- 1:15pm Lunch--Jubilee Lodge or the Back of the Tab Cafe

1:30 pm- 2:30 pm:

 Drumming workshop with Ekouive, Eastside of Jubilee

Drums will be provided (but if you have one feel free to bring it). Everyone is invited to learn to drum from master drummer Ekouvie. Don’t miss the fun!

Available Afternoon Activities:

ping pong, volleyball, mini golf, prayer walk, selfie treasure hunt, Mill Creek floating, swimming, basketball, Creative Center (look for the green tent by Pioneer Hall)

​2:30 pm - at the Green Tent  ”Let’s Bead Together!” Create your own beaded piece of art

2:30 pm  "Coffee and Conversation"  Location: North end of the Tabernacle

grab a cup of coffee and sit down around the table for a conversation with a workshop speaker. Ask questions, give feedback and talk in depth. Jenny Barischoff (Baraka Legal Services) joining Matt and Jan King

4:45 pm-6:15 pm Dinner

 African Dinner prepared by our friends at Baraka in Salem. Everyone is invited to enjoy an authentic African meal, come prepared to give a donation to cover the cost. Thank you!

 

6:30 pm—Evening Session in the Tabernacle

  • Nursery and Preschool—Heritage House, Westside of Jubilee Lodge (check-in starts at 6:15)

  • Children k-5th and youth go to the Tabernacle

​Join President Scott Lerwick for updates on the College and enjoy a delicious bowl of Tillamook ice cream .

 

9 pm Bonfire​--(westside of property) Speaker—Tim Long, Turner Homes

This special evening time is for everyone (all ages). This is your opportunity to enjoy singing around the campfire and listening to an inspiring devotional as you close out the day.
