Looking Beyond the Headlines
In this workshop we will spend time looking beyond what the news says about immigration. After looking at the world’s displaced peoples, we will take a look in scripture and learn more about God’s heart for the foreigner among us and lastly hear about what is happening in Baraka Ministries in Salem, OR.

11 am Prayer Workshop: Cheryl Peterson
Whether you’re a brand-new believer or have been walking with Jesus for years, we’ve all encountered stumbling blocks that seem insurmountable. In this prayer workshop, we’ll explore some Biblical techniques for effective prayer and discover ways to achieve breakthroughs for yourself and your loved ones.
Location: North end of Tabernacle

1:30 pm- 2:30 pm:
Drumming workshop with Ekouive, Eastside of Jubilee
Drums will be provided (but if you have one feel free to bring it). Everyone is invited to learn to drum from master drummer Ekouvie. Don’t miss the fun!
Available Afternoon Activities:

2:30 pm - at the Green Tent ”Let’s Bead Together!” Create your own beaded piece of art
2:30 pm "Coffee and Conversation" Location: North end of the Tabernacle
grab a cup of coffee and sit down around the table for a conversation with a workshop speaker. Ask questions, give feedback and talk in depth. Jenny Barischoff (Baraka Legal Services) joining Matt and Jan King
4:45 pm-6:15 pm Dinner
African Dinner prepared by our friends at Baraka in Salem. Everyone is invited to enjoy an authentic African meal, come prepared to give a donation to cover the cost. Thank you!
