Sean Bitzer, Lead Pastor at Monmouth Christian Church, will share some practical ideas that have helped him lead a theologically, politically, and culturally diverse church for the past fourteen years. In a world increasingly siloed, we'll consider how unity begins and ends with us. According to Jesus, one of the greatest witnesses of our faith will be our uncommon unity. A witness that is as urgent today as any time in our lifetime. You will definitely leave challenged to reconsider your role in the unity of believers.
Location: Tabernacle Main room
11 am Prayer Workshop: Annalee McIntosh To Bless or Not to Bless: Loving Others Through a Prayer of Blessing
One way to love each other is through the spiritual practice of blessing. Blessing one another is a practice we can take into our daily lives, as we engage in loving those around us through speaking God's truth and love. In this workshop we will learn what the Bible tells us about blessings, and then engage in the practice of blessing one another. Join Annalee McIntosh, Bushnell University alum and current Emmanuel Christian Seminary student, as she leads us in this spiritual practice of loving one another through blessing one another.
