11 am Workshop: Toney Salva—Welcome Mats

Drawing from more than 30 years of church planting experience and 17 years as the lead pastor of a thriving church, Toney will highlight the importance of loving our neighbors through everyday acts of grace, hospitality, kindness, and invitation. Every follower of Jesus should have a “welcome mat” at the entrance of their heart, home, and church so others can experience the love, grace, and truth of Jesus through them.

11 am Prayer Workshop: Casey Holmes Discovering the Liesborn Prayer Wheel

About 10 years ago, the Liesborn Prayer Wheel was discovered on a slip of paper tucked inside an ancient manuscript on display at Les Enluminures gallery in New York. As a result, three archivists began a deep investigation into the source and purpose of this ancient prayer practice. During this prayer session, Archivist and Historian Casey Holmes will share the results of this real-life treasure hunt and guide us in creating our own prayer wheels. Join us as we follow the instruction of Jeremiah 6: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; walk in it and find rest for your souls.

Mini-Golf Tournament—sign-up to show your skills at golf. Mini golf is located by Pioneer Hall.

 

Mill Creek Float Race—Short  race on your choice of a floatie from the “no life guard on duty” sign to the swimming hole.

 

Carnival Games—Bounce House, Fish Tank, Corn Hole...lots of fun games to play plus Sno-Kones!
