Countryside Christian Church is looking for our next KidVenture Minister to lead our ministry to children from birth – 5th grade.
Our mission is a laser focused version of Countryside’s Mission:
to help CHILDREN know and follow Jesus one kid at a time.
We do this through intentional relationship building as we pursue God, build community and unleash compassion. God has called us to be a light to our community, and we recognize that ministry to children is a powerful avenue through which we can gain access to the community.
We are looking for a team member who loves and relates well to kids. This position requires a good balance of organization and fun.
We are looking for a candidate who is ALL IN when it comes to our church and the mission we have from God. We look for opportunities to win children and families to the gospel through all our programs (Sundays, Midweek and Special events).
We are looking for a team member who knows the value and importance of a team and will actively look to equip people and find the right place for them to serve. One who will take time to care for and shepherd team members through the ups and downs of personal life.
We are looking for a team member who builds relationships and trust with parents. We recognize that the children we serve are the product of a family that needs encouragement, tools and opportunities for fun together.
We are looking for a team member who will build relationships with staff members and participate in meetings and trainings – even if they aren’t directly related to Children’s Ministry.
We are looking for a team member who is comfortable with technology and communicating through many social media platforms…because that’s where the parents are. Interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication is a must.
This part time position absolutely has room to grow into a full time position when certain metrics are met.
