Countryside Christian Church is looking for our next KidVenture Minister to lead our ministry to children from birth – 5th grade.
Our mission is a laser focused version of Countryside’s Mission:
to help CHILDREN know and follow Jesus one kid at a time.
We do this through intentional relationship building as we pursue God, build community and unleash compassion. God has called us to be a light to our community, and we recognize that ministry to children is a powerful avenue through which we can gain access to the community.
We are looking for a team member who loves and relates well to kids. This position requires a good balance of organization and fun.

We are looking for a team member who builds relationships and trust with parents. We recognize that the children we serve are the product of a family that needs encouragement, tools and opportunities for fun together.
We are looking for a team member who will build relationships with staff members and participate in meetings and trainings – even if they aren’t directly related to Children’s Ministry.
We are looking for a team member who is comfortable with technology and communicating through many social media platforms…because that’s where the parents are. Interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication is a must.
This part time position absolutely has room to grow into a full time position when certain metrics are met.
Position Overview
To lead teams and programs that will build disciples among children in cooperation with parents and families.
Essential Job Functions
Plan, organize and lead the weekly Sunday Morning Program and midweek program for Children’s Ministry.
Utilize our greatest asset, gifted team members, to minister to children.
Communicate with and encourage children’s ministry team members, parents and children.
Administrate special events (suggested quarterly basis) that help us reach children across the community.
Meet regularly with staff supervisor.
Manage, inventory and oversee the purchase of curriculum, supplies and materials needed for ministry to Children.
Requirements
Personal testimony of salvation with a present abiding, passionate walk with Christ.
Self-motivated, able to see needs and address them in an efficient manner
Demonstrates love for God and people and a desire to serve the kingdom work through Countryside Christian Church
Current Member or willing to commit to membership of Countryside Christian Church
Prefer candidates with a ministry-related Bachelors Degree and 3 years experience or 5+ years experience in like ministry.
