Associate Campus Minister--Impact Campus Ministries (Eugene, OR)

Impact Campus Ministries is currently seeking an Associate Campus Minister to add to our team at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

We are looking for someone who has a heart for university students, a high view of the biblical text, and a growing pursuit of God. We value team, and we are looking for an individual who will complement the work of ministry through a humble, collaborative spirit. This person will also embrace the value that we first listen to God to understand the campus culture before moving forward in the direction God leads—and the team agrees upon—together. This individual has the ability to communicate a vision to Impact the University and Impact the World, and will complement the existing team. A willingness to fundraise is also necessary, as each campus minister is expected to raise the major portion of their compensation.

Founded in 1876, the University of Oregon is the third largest public university in Oregon with a total enrollment of 22,800 students in 2021–22. Over half the student population is from Oregon, and a third of incoming freshmen are first generation college students. A public research university with a strong athletic program and passionate fans, the UO underscores opportunities for students to innovate, collaborate, and shape the future.

Building on the legacy of University Christian Fellowship (a campus ministry founded in 1978 and transitioned under Impact Campus Ministries in 2020), Impact is currently in the process of relaunching the ministry at Oregon. As we look toward the future, Impact will seek to recognize the unique culture of the UO today and understand how God is shaping a new team to develop ministry that will reach students in the coming years. Our team will lead these first steps to look through a new lens and create a vision for the days ahead.
